PUBLIC HEARINGS:

 

1.      Continued from March 29, 2006; Venture Retail Group; Arabia Courtyards has filed a development application located on the southwest corner of Highway 111 and Arabia Street.  (Sean Moore, Associate Planner),  Entitlements include:

 

a.                  Design Review 05-8-188; to review and consider architecture and landscape plans for a proposed 32,300 square-foot commercial shopping center on 3.62 acres. Minute Order No. 1476

 

b.                  Conditional Use Permit 06-1-852; to allow the development of two buildings, proposed bank and fast food restaurant with a drive-thru, and a 4000 square foot convenience market. Order No. 1225

 

 

2.            Calhoun Ventures has filed a development application located on Calhoun Street north of Dr. Carreon Blvd, south of Date Street. (Matt Straite, Assistant Planner) Recommendation: Approve; Entitlements include:

 

a.                  Design Review 06-1-207; to construct a 14,676 square foot industrial building; Minute Order No. 1485

 

b.                  Conditional Use Permit; 06-4-858; to allow an industrial building on a lot in the Industrial Park designation that is less than 15 acres; Minute Order No. 1486

 

 

3.         Design Review 06-3-218; San Indio Palms; to construct 32 condominiums in the Indian Palms Country Club on previously approved Tract Map 14690; APN 614-351-084 (Matt Straite, Assistant Planner) No Recommendation: Minute Order No. 1487

 

 

4.         Design Review 05-4-172 (A); Storage Outlet-RV-CT Storage; to review and consider architecture, landscape and signage plans on a 8-acre site for a 299 space RV storage and condominium facility, with a manager’s office and residence. (Mamun Faruque, Associate Planner) Recommendation: Approve; Minute Order No. 1488

 

 

5.                  Design Review 06-2-212; Cabazon Band of Mission Indians has filed an application for the extension/development of an 12-acre parcel of vacant land within the proposed Kah’ We’ Ah’ Falls Golf course, located approximately 1200 feet south from the intersection of Avenue 44 and Harrison Street, west of City boundary (APN: 601-370-009) (Mamun Faruque, Associate Planner) Recommendation: Approve; Minute Order No.1489

 

 

6.                  Design Review 05-10-197; Donald Brown has filed an application to review the architectural and landscaping design for an industrial building totaling 3,980 square feet on .26 acres of vacant land located on the east side of Caspian Street, 87 feet south of Showcase Parkway.  (Sean Moore, Associate Planner) Recommendation: Approve; Minute Order No.1490

 

 

7.                  Design Review 06-3-213; Archuleta Excavating has filed a development application to consider the architectural and landscaping design of a 3,200 square foot industrial building on a 22,068 square foot lot located at 83-864 Avenue 45, east of Golf Center Parkway. (Sean Moore, Associate Planner) Recommendation: Approve; Minute Order No. 1491
