PUBLIC HEARINGS:

 

1.      CK Development Group has filed a development application. The project is  located on the north side of Dr. Carreon Blvd., 664 feet east of Calhoun Street. (APN 612-130-013 & 014) (Sean Moore, Associate Planner) Recommendation: Approve; Entitlements include:

 

a.                  Environmental Assessment 05-8-441; Certification of Final Mitigated Negative Declaration.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

b.                  Conditional Use Permit 05-8-845; to allow the construction of eight (8) buildings in two phases on two parcels totaling 8.25 acres on less than 15 acres in size. Order No. 1217

 

c.                  Design Review 05-8-193; to consider the architectural and site design to construct eight (8) buildings (six office/warehouse and two large garages) in two phases totaling 64,136 square feet. per phase on two parcels totaling 8.25 acres. Minute Order No. 1461

 

 

 

2.      UHC Indio L.P.; Horizons at Indio has filed a development application.  The project is located at the northwest corner of Monroe Street and Shadow Palm Avenue. (Lonnie Bell, Planner) Recommendation: Approve; Entitlements include:

 

a.                  Design Review 04-12-151; to allow the construction of an 80-unit apartment complex to service the community as affordable housing for independent seniors on 7.78 acres; Minute Order No. 1462

 

b.                  Environmental Assessment 05-4-434; Certification of Final Mitigated Negative Declaration.

 

 

3.      Design Review 05-2-161 (A); Indio Development Group, LLC; Villa La Jolla; Amendment to the Design Review for the addition of a new floor plan (Floor Plan C) with the approved Floor Plans A and B for Tract 33014.  The site is located on the south side of John Nobles, east of Rubidoux Street, and west of Arabia Street. (Mamun Faruque, Associate Planner) Recommendation: Approve; Minute Order No. 1463

 

 

4.      Zoning Text Amendment 05-10-12; amendment to establish Art in Public Places Program. (Mark Wasserman, Assistant to the City Manager) Recommendation: Approve; Resolution No. 1451

 

 

5.      Design Review Extension 04-5-120; Eric Schmidt; Schmidt Services; A one-year time extension request of previously approved Design Review 04-5-120 to construct a 10,700 square foot 2-story industrial building; south of Oleander Avenue between Wheel Road and Monroe Street. (Matt Straite, Assistant Planner) Recommendation: Approve; Minute Order No. 1464

  1. Presentation by the Coachella Valley Historical Society; Conceptual Master Plan. (Doug York)
