BASIC NUMBERING OF ADDRESSES

A:	The City is Divided up in a Grid System
B:	80…Thru 84…Running W - E
	79	= Adams Street
	80	= Jefferson Street
	81	= Madison Street
	82	= Monroe Street
	83	= Jackson Street
	84	= Van Buren Street
		(There are theoretically addresses between grid lines)
C:	Even numbers are on the North and East side of the Streets Odd numbers are on the South and West side of the Streets
D:	To calculate an address:
	W - E
	1.	Find the distance from the mid point of the grid line to the mid point of the property in question.
	2.	Each Address Number = 5.25 feet
	3.	Calculation = : Total Number of Feet / 5.28’ = last (3) digits of Address
		The first (2) digits are the Grid line # i.e. 79…84

	2.	Each Address Number = 2.64 feet
	3.	Calculation = : Total Number of Feet / 2.64’ = last (3) digits of Address
