The Human Resources Department coordinates services and programs for the City of Indio which include recruitment, testing and placement; classification and compensation; employment processing; benefit and retirement administration; employee relations; labor contract administration; training and organizational development; employee assistance and employee recognition programs; workers' compensation administration; personnel records maintenance; and policy and procedure development and interpretation.
