RECRUITMENT POLICY
The City of Indio only accepts job applications for positions which it
is actively recruiting for and does not maintain an active interest file
for future job openings.
APPLYING FOR A POSITION:
1. A City application form is required and must be submitted to
the Human Resources Department by the filing deadline noted on the job
flyer. POSTMARKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. Resumes may be attached to the City
application but WILL NOT be accepted in lieu of a completed City
application form.
2. The second
page of the application must be SIGNED AND DATED.
3. A screening committee will determine the most qualified
applicants to continue on in the recruitment process, based upon the
City’s specific needs and the applicant’s education, previous experience
and training. 4. A separate application is required for each position.
