City Attorney

The City Attorney is appointed by the City Council and provides legal services to the City, Redevelopment Agency, Indio Water Authority and the Coachella/Indio Waste Transfer Station Authority. The firm of Richards, Watson & Gershon, has been contracted by the City Council to provide services ranging from attending all regular City Council meetings, Planning Commission meetings, and other meetings as required. They are also responsible for preparing necessary legal documents, performing legal research and rendering legal opinions.
