Elementary School Outreach Program
Mr. Recycle (pictured right) is the mascot for the City of Indio's Recycling programs. He appears at spe
cial events and school outreach programs. Mr. Recycle and his team of helpers will visit your group to discuss: water conservation, water wasting, recycling, and stormwater pollution for FREE! Click here to listen to Mr. Recycle's theme song.
Informational Displays
Check out the display case in the Atrium at City Hall (100 Civic Center Mall, Indio) for information regarding the City’s environmental programs and to pickup educational materials on recycling, pollution prevention, and more!

Environmental Volunteer Opportunities
For a volunteer project, why not do some litter cleanup on the day of your choice! The City will provide the litter bags and collect the bags of trash for disposal and recycling. Other volunteer opportunities may also be available. Please call the Environmental Hotline at 760.391.4129 to request more information.
