To help prevent consumer fraud and identity theft , the City, in partnership with Burrtec and the Indio Chamber of Commerce, offers Community Shred Recycling Events. Upcoming shred events will be held on May 11 and October 5, 2013, from 8:00 a.m. until noon, or until the truck is full. Whether it is small business documents you no longer need or personal papers you want to safely dispose of, these events give individuals the opportunity to have their confidential documents destroyed on site and recycled, FREE OF CHARGE. Limit 4 boxes.
