The City of Indio is subject to the Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (California Public Contract Code 22000 et seq., and the accounting and bidding procedures contained in the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Commission’s Accounting Policies and Procedures Manual. Details of the Act can be reviewed at www.sco.ca.gov/ard_cuccac.html . We invite licensed contractors to submit qualifications that may support their inclusion on the list that will be authorized to add contractors to informally bid public projects and maintenance work for the following calendar year (2012-2013). The requirements for licensed contractors to submit when applying to be included on the list are attached to this notice and can be sent to the address below, or go to the City of Indio website at 2012-2013 List of Qualified Contractors Form or E-Services (Click on List of 2012-2013 List of Qualified Contractors) to fill out the online application form. Information indicating a time and place to bid on said projects, licensing requirements and other required information will be made available as required during the year.
