INDIO RESIDENTS SUPPORT FUNDING FOR IMPORTANT
CITY SERVICES AND PROGRAMS
Indio residents want to protect their local City services and programs. According to a recent public opinion research survey conducted in May by the independent polling firm FM3 Research, 59% of voters would support a November 2010 local revenue measure to increase the existing Utility Users Tax by 3%. If enacted, the measure would protect and maintain important services like police, fire, emergency response, senior services, and street and pothole repairs.
