Planning Commission Vacancy

The City of Indio is currently seeking applications to fill a vacancy on the Planning Commission.
The Planning Commission is responsible for the development and maintenance of the City’s General Plan, the development of Specific Plans, periodically reviewing the City’s Capital Improvement Program, consideration of various development permit applications, as well as performing functions and duties as assigned by the City Council.
The Planning Commission meets the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month at 6:00PM in the City Council Chambers. Experience in land planning, land development, architecture and/or construction is highly desired but not required.
