Join the City of Indio and the Indio Black History Committee for a free, family-friendly Black History Month Celebration on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Center Stage in Downtown Indio (82881 Miles Avenue).

This community event will feature a dynamic lineup of guest speakers, panel discussions, live entertainment, games, resource booths, a free kids zone, food vendors, and more. Admission is free and the event is open to the public.

Stay for Center Stage Presents: E&J Movement, performing Motown favorites from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. This concert is also free. Beginning at 6:00 p.m., the first 100 attendees will receive a free burger from Papa Headz while supplies last.

The event is hosted by the Indio Black History Committee and the City of Indio, with support from Desert Recreation District and the Coachella Valley History Museum.
