The City of Indio invites the community to a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 9 a.m. at Miles Avenue Park (82540 Miles Ave, Indio). We will honor the lives lost, the bravery of our first responders, and the strength of our nation.
Immediately following the ceremony, we’ll break ground on the future Indio 9/11 Memorial, featuring a powerful 12-foot steel artifact from the World Trade Center. This memorial will be a space of reflection, remembrance, and unity.
All are welcome — residents, visitors, and neighboring communities.
