HIGHWAY 111 STREET PAVING PROJECT TO TAKE PLACE

OVERNIGHT TO REDUCE IMPACT ON COMMUNITY

July 22-24, 2024, from 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.

Who: The City of Indio’s contractor, ATP

What: The contractor will grind down the top surface of the roadway and replace it with new asphalt. Also included in the project are minor adjustments to utility covers in the roadway, replacing all traffic striping and roadway markings on the new asphalt surface. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction, and the use of alternate routes is encouraged to avoid possible delays. Work is being done at night to reduce the impact on the community.

When: Monday, July 22, 2024 – Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 9:00 pm – 5:00 am

Where: Highway 111 between Jefferson Street and Madison Street.

Why: Highway 111 is an important corridor for the City of Indio and this grind and overlay will extend the useful life of the roadway.
