Got time on your hands? Do you like to meet people, socialize and help others? Then maybe you would like to be a volunteer at the ISC!

The process in becoming a volunteer – be an active member for at least one month, express an interest to appropriate persons, and discuss an opportunity. Once matched with a position you must fill out basic paperwork and then be cleared through a Live Scan background check and a urinalysis (paid for by ISC) in order to work/volunteer for the Indio Senior Center.

Guidelines for ISC Volunteers

  • I will be respectful of the staff and members.
  • I will present myself in a clean and orderly manner.
  • I will be punctual.
  • I will log my volunteer hours.
  • If I am unsure of how to respond to a question, I will seek assistance from staff.
  • I will direct any problems or concerns to a member of the staff.
