The Indio Water Authority’s Engineering and Water Resources Division provides water infrastructure project management, water facilities planning and design, water resources planning, environmental compliance, construction management, and inspection utilizing highly-skilled professional staff.

The 2025 Coachella Valley Regional Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) is underway!
A Public Draft of the 2025 Coachella Valley Regional UWMP will be available for review from April 13–May 3, 2026. All six Coachella Valley water agencies are collaborating to manage regional water resources and encourage water use efficiency. Review the plan, submit comments, and attend a public hearing on the Regional UWMP.
