Pursuant to Governor Newsom’s Executive Order N-29-20, members of the City Council, Planning Commission, and Staff may participate in meetings via teleconference or video-conference. There will be no in-person public access to meeting locations. Residents are encouraged to view meetings via Livestream or Facebook Live.
MEETING ACCESS AND PUBLIC COMMENT FOR CITY COUNCIL, INDIO WATER AUTHORITY AND PLANNING COMMISSION & ART COMMISSION
In the interest of maintaining appropriate social distancing, members of the public may participate in meetings in the following manner:
Option 1: Have the City Clerk or Commission Secretary read your comment into the record.
Email your comment to email@example.com (for City Council) firstname.lastname@example.org (for Planning Commission & Public Art Commission) and state in the email whether the comment is non-agenda related or associated to an item listed on the agenda.
Option 2: Provide verbal testimony during the live session. (Must have access to the meeting online via Livestream or Facebook Live)
Email your name, phone number and the item you wish to speak on to the City Clerk or Commission Secretary. Upon receipt of your request, the City Clerk or Commission Secretary will email you the call-in instructions.
As it relates to the comments on public hearing items, comments will be accepted to the e-mail address identified above during the public hearing and until the hearing is closed.
On the day of the meeting, please call in when the meeting begins and be aware that you will be on hold until the item you wish to speak on is presented. Alternatively, follow the meeting proceedings on Facebook Live or Livestream and call in before the item you wish to comment on is introduced.
