Now in its second year, CODe – a free coding program for middle and high school students presented by the College of the Desert (COD) – is in great demand by local youth.
There are two sessions of the CODe program, and while the Palm Desert session is full, there are still a few high school spots available for the Indio session July 23 – August 3 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. The session will be held at the Indio campus of COD, located at 45524 Oasis Street.
The sessions offer activities with Raspberry Pi and Arduinos. Students will also learn programming, game development and cyber security.
Because the program is listed as “full” on the COD website and there is no online registration currently open, high schoolers interested in the Iimited spots available for the Indio session should contact Beth Bentley at Babentley@collegeofthedesert.edu or by calling (760) 636-7949.
