Emergency Order regarding STRs rescinded in Indio

Regional stay at home order lifted in So. Cal. region

On January 25, 2021, the California Department of Public Health lifted the “Regional Stay at Home Order,” which limited the operation of hotels and short-term rentals. With this new development, the County of Riverside returns to their appropriate tier under the Blueprint for a Safer Economy, which is currently the “Purple Tier.” Under the Purple Tier, hotels and lodging, including short-term home rentals can open with modifications. Accordingly, the City of Indio Director of Emergency Services Emergency Order No. 4. is hereby rescinded effective January 25, 2021. Notwithstanding, hotels and short-term home rentals should continue to follow the guidance provided by the State of California regarding “Hotels, Lodging and Short-Term Rentals” set forth at the following link: https://files.covid19.ca.gov/pdf/guidance-hotels-lodging-rentals--en.pdf.
