December 5 & 6, 2026
The Indio International Tamale Festival is returning to Downtown Indio on December 5–6, 2026! Join us for a weekend of delicious tamales, live entertainment, local vendors, and family-friendly fun as we celebrate one of Indio's most beloved traditions.
The 34th Annual Indio International Tamale Festival is welcoming small, home-based, and community tamale vendors to share their delicious tamales with thousands of festival attendees.
Whether you’re a longtime tamale maker, a family-run business, or a home-based vendor, we invite you to share your culinary traditions with the community. You do not need to own a restaurant or established food business to participate. Share your family’s tradition at the International Tamale Festival!
All vendors must meet applicable City of Indio and Riverside County requirements before selling food at the festival. Our events team is available to assist you throughout the process.
